Hot Chip and Roisin Murphy Confirmed For Big Chill 2008

The Big Chill festival has confirmed that Hot Chip, Roisin Murphy and Alabama 3 are the latest additions to the lineup.

Other additions include African Head Charge, Federico Aubelle, Peatbog Fairies and Spring Heel Jack & Evan Parker.

Festival co-ordinators the ICA have also announced a Big Chill exclusive, ‘Action Dub Painting’.  Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry will be visually interpreting Adrian Sherwood’s dub soundtrack on an improvised canvas.  The canvas will then be auctioned on behalf of Amnesty International.

Already confirmed for The Big Chill are the likes of Leonard Cohen, Trentemoller, The Buzzcocks and Plaid. The festival takes place from August 1-3 at Eastnor Castle Deer Park.
