Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz is set to marry his girlfriend of two years Ashlee Simpson after they got engaged on a trip to Colorado.
A friend of the couple told US magazine ‘Touch’ how the ground-breaking news came about. “He got down on one knee and she said yes. She has an amazing ring and they are so in love.”
Not content with enjoying their own bliss Simpson couldn’t wait to share the love around. “We wanted to our fans to be first to know, because you guys are the best.”
Simpson added “we consider this to be a very private matter.” Gigwise presumes that’ll be the last we hear of it then.
The couple have yet to set a date for the wedding.
