Darren Hayman is re-releasing Hefner’s classic 1999 album ‘The Fidelity Wars’ in a double-CD, deluxe format this summer.
The band frontman owns the rights to all of the band’s output on Too Pure following a legal wrangle with them back in 2005.
Now, to support his upcoming tour – ‘Darren Hayman and Jack Hayter play Hefner songs’ - arguably the band’s best record is being released once again on June 2 under licence to Belka Records.
The package contains the whole album in its entirety, as well as all the b-sides and EP tracks release to support it. The second CD contains 29 ultra-limited edition, unheard and demo tracks.
Hefner formed in 1996 and released four albums before they split in 2002. One of John Peel’s favourite bands, Hefner recorded a massive 10 sessions for the late DJ legend.
Tickets for their upcoming tour dates are almost completely sold-out, except for the Manchester show which you can but by CLICKING HERE.
