Debbie Nelson, the mother of Eminem, is being sued by a man who claims that he is entitled to profits from a book she wrote about the rapper.
In a lawsuit filed at Oakland County Circuit Court on Monday (April 7th), Neal Alpert claims he was Nelson’s agent when she wrote the book.
He said that the pair had entered into an agreement that entitled him to 25% of the profits from ‘My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem’.
The book has gone on to sell over 100,000 copies in the United Kingdom since its release last year, reports AP.
The lawsuit comes in the week the book is due to make its American debut.
