Katie White, vocalist and guitarist of The Ting Tings, has told Gigwise that Mercury Records made a somewhat frank request when her previous band Dear Eskiimo were signed to the label.
She was asked if she was willing to pose for FHM to which Katie's answer was an unequivocal no.
"In our last band we were at Mercury and in the first ever meeting they brought that up. I was literally like **** off!" explained the singer.
Katie showed her strong willed side by saying: "It's the last thing on earth I would do."
Jules and Katie also revealed during the interview that they had plans to play all the main festivals this summer but were waiting for deals to be done.
