Kylie Minogue Reveals Doctor Originally Misdiagnosed Cancer

Kylie Minogue has told a US chat show host that the first doctor she saw failed to diagnose that she had cancer.

Minogue, who has since made a full recovery from breast cancer, revealed that she originally continued on her Showgirl world tour after a doctor told her “everything was fine”.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres, Minogue said: “My message to all of you and everyone at home is because someone’s in a white coat and using big medical instruments doesn’t necessarily mean they’re right.”

Minogue has previously spoken about the “anger” she felt after she was diagnosed with the disease in 2005 and how she channeled it into her latest album ‘X’.

The pop star is currently in the US on a promotional tour but is scheduled to return to the UK this summer for a host of shows.
