The UK Boarder Agency will today dispute a ruling that allows rapper Snoop Dogg to enter the country.
A ban was imposed against the rapper shortly after he was arrested on suspicion of affray at Heathrow Airport in 2006.
However, an asylum immigration tribunal in January ruled that the ban should be lifted.
Speaking on US television in February, the rapper said that he would be coming back to the UK to “give you all what you want."
Despite the Judge’s ruling in January, the rapper was told he would have to wait for the outcome of the Boarder Agency’s appeal before applying for a visa.
Snoop Dogg had originally been due to perform alongside fellow rapper P Diddy on a UK tour when the ban was imposed.
The rapper is also barred from entering Australia because of his criminal record.
