Apparently there's not a lot wrong with being a commercial artist. If you're that way inclined, there is plenty of opportunity to stick your name to some of the biggest 'big deal' TV soundtracks known to mankind. Is this a bad thing? It's a democracy, you decide! Alison Sudol, aka A Fine Frenzy, is such an artist. She boasts commerical pop prime time on shows including One Tree Hill and Brothers and Sisters (amongst others). She is also show stoppingly gorgeous (if that's relevant); making appearances at fashion shows (Ana Sui) and giving DIY beauty advice to underage sheilas (Elle Girl). Yeah, whatever. Musically, she sounds like Delta Goodrem, hitting the well worn ivory keys in those places that maketh 'ballads'. I'm shuddering. This may well be your cup of tea, but it's certainly not mine.
