Portishead’s eagerly anticipated new album ‘Third’ will be aired exclusively on Current TV this April, three weeks before its official release.
The Mercury Prize winners will debut eight songs from their third studio LP – and first in more than 11 years – in a live show titled Portishead in Portishead. The performance, recorded live in Somerset, will premier at 10pm on April 11.
It will be available to watch on Current TV's website current.com for three weeks following the first screening.
Meanwhile, in other Portishead news guitarist Adrian Utley recently declared his anger at reports that the forthcoming album had been leaked online.
"We're definitely pissed about it. But I suppose there's nothing you can do about it,” Utley told MTV.
‘Third’ is officially released on April 28.
