Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian, Sigur Ros and Manic Street Preachers are amongst the big names confirmed for the second Connect Festival in Scotland.
Taking place at Inveraray Castle on the banks of Loch Fyne on the weekend of August 29-31, the line-up for this year’s event is starting to take shape.
Also on the bill are Grinderman, Manic Street Preachers, Paolo Nutini, Duffy, Elbow, The Gossip, Mercury Rev, Spiritualized, The Coral, The Breeders, Amy MacDonald, Camera Obscura, Sia and The Levellers. More acts will be announced soon.
This year the festival has been sponsored by Scottish Hydro Electric, the UK’s leading supplier of renewable energy who will apparently be doing a lot to make the festival green.
