Veteran music stars Elvis Costello and Sir Elton John are uniting to produce a brand new chat show to be aired on the Sundance Channel.
Costello will host ‘Spectacle: Elvis Costello With…’ which will feature in-depth discussions with artists and other personalities. The show, scheduled to start in December, will be produced by Rockstar Pictures, owned by Sir Elton.
"This is a wonderful opportunity to talk in complete thoughts about music, movies, art or even vaudeville, then frame it with unique and illustrative performances," Costello said.
Fans may be surprised to learn that this isn’t Costello’s first foray into the world of television. In 2003, he stepped in to present ‘The Late Show’ after David Letterman was struck down by illness.
The show will be a 13-week series with Channel 4 screening the show in the UK.
