Foals album, ‘Antidotes’, has gone straight into the UK album charts at number three.
The band’s debut album enters charts just as the group announce their biggest UK tour to date, which begins in September.
Elsewhere in the album chart, Duffy’s ‘Rockferry’ is spending its fourth week at number one, just ahead of Panic At The Disco’s latest album ‘Pretty. Odd.’ - which entered at number two despite a mixed reception from critics.
The Raconteurs second album, ‘Consolers Of The Lonely’ – which was only completed at the beginning of the month – charted at number eight.
Guillemots’ second album, ‘Red’, entered at number nine, while Supergrass’s ‘Diamond Hoo Ha’ just made it into the top-twenty at nineteen.
In the singles charts, Estelle is still number one with, ‘American Boy’, which features US rapper Kanye West.
