Mos Def is combining both his careers by playing Chuck Berry in the new film about legendary record label Chess Records.
The rapper has secured his latest acting assignment in bio-pic ‘Cadillac Records‘, which also stars Beyonce Knowles as Etta James.
Oscar winner Adrien Brody plays label boss Leonard Chess, whilst Jeffery Wright will portray Muddy Waters.
The film is written and directed by Darnell Martin.
