Ricki Rockett, the drummer with 80s hair metal outfit Poison, has been arrested on suspicion of rape in California.
The 46-year-old – real name Richard Ream - was taken in by police at Los Angeles International Airport as he got off a flight from New Zealand. The rape warrant was issued in Neshoba County in Mississippi.
Rockett was transferred to a Los Angeles County Jail where he was slapped with a sexual assault charge.
The intricacies of the warrant and the charges that Rockett is facing have not yet been made public. More details are expected to be confirmed soon.
Rockett was one of the founding members of Poison when the band was formed back 1983.
