Oasis, Foo Fighters To Headline Festival This Summer

Oasis and the Foo Fighters will headline the Virgin Festival in Canada this September, it’s been confirmed.

The two day festival in Toronto, which runs from September 6th-7th, will also feature performances from Bloc Party, Paul Weller, Stereophonics and Spiritualised.

So far the festival is Oasis’ only confirmed date for 2008 and will likely see them perform tracks from their as-yet-untitled seventh album.

The band have spent the last few months recording the studio project in London and Los Angeles.

Organisers have promised that more acts will be added to the bill for this years festival, in addition to a further event taking place in Calgary from June 21st-22nd.
