Troubled songstress Amy Winehouse has admitted that she needs to return to rehab, according to a source printed in The Sun newspaper.
Winehouse, 24, was recently seen out with scabby skin after being diagnosed with impetigo, a skin infection that often comes as a side-effect of crack cocaine abuse.
She was originally admitted to hospital in January but left after just two weeks.
Today a source close to the singer reportedly told journalists: "Amy has admitted she needs to check into rehab again. There are too many temptations for her in the UK - people around her in London are making it impossible for her to stay clean for any length of time.”
Winehouse has recently been seen spending time with Pete Doherty, 29, the ex-Libertines vocalist famed for his drug abuse.
The source continued: “Her management considered sending her to a clinic in Israel but are now looking further afield. They are assessing a clinic in Cape Town in South Africa."
