Model Horror - 'We Are Here'

Neon electro chaos is like marmite. Some can’t get enough of it, others hate it. Model Horror may have very cool merchandise but what else do they have to offer other than being touted by the likes of BBC’s Huw Stephens and Zane Lowe? Well quite a lot actually. The Hertfordshire based five piece may be jumping on a bandwagon but what a bandwagon it is. Angular guitars spar with Larter and Hardy’s frenzied vocals and the proclamation ‘We Are Here’ is delivered with the force of a two year old throwing a tantrum during a funeral. The guttural use of the word ‘wasted’ is memorably effective and the sheer verve of it all makes the cool t-shirts simply an added bonus.
