Following the success of the Teenage Cancer Trust Benefit Shows the organizers have announced the release of a DVD featuring rare footage of some of the performers.
The DVD, on general release from 14th April, showcases exclusive footage of one off collaborations between Noel Gallagher and Paul Weller, and Razorlight and The Who’s Roger Daltry from last year’s shows.
All proceeds from the release go to The Teenage Cancer Trust in helping to build specialist teenage cancer units within the NHS for young people with cancer.
The gigs, which return for their eighth consecutive year in 2008, were the brainchild of Roger Daltry.
As patron of the charity Daltry has persuaded some of the best of British talent to give up their time in money-raising performances at the Royal Albert Hall.
The DVD is available at a special preview price HERE
