More The Brit Awards Organisers of the BRIT Awards have acted swiftly to deny reports that next years ceremony will take place at the O2 Arena.
A report in today’s Sun newspaper claimed that the ceremony would move to the new London venue, formerly the Millennium Dome, from its current home at Earls Court.
However, in a statement issued to Gigwise, organisers said: “The BRITs Committee and the BPI would like to clarify that The BRITs 2009 will be staged at London’s Earls Court.”
For the last two years the BRIT Awards has been staged live from the Earls Court exhibition hall.
This year’s ceremony, which took place last month, was hosted by the Osbourne family.
