Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page has donated an ultra-limited edition, iconic double-neck guitar to raise money for charity.
The auction, Childline Rocks, takes place at London’s IndigO2 tonight (March 13), with the Jimmy Page Signature Double Neck EDS 1275 being one of the star lots on offer.
Also up for auction are guitars donated and signed by Noel Gallagher and Status Quo, tickets on the Flight 666 piloted by Bruce Dickinson for a trip to see Iron Maiden play live in Lisbon, a personal acoustic performance by Thunder, a guitar signed by all the artists appearing at Childline Rocks and a plaque presented to Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin.
Page’s guitar will be signed and personalised for the highest bidder by Jimmy himself.
Performing tonight are the likes of Roger Daltrey, Lulu, Marillion, The Zombies, Fish, Thunder, Glenn Hughes and Russ Ballard.
Tickets for the special event are still available now and cost £40, £45, £75 or £200 for VIP. Information on how to buy tickets can be found here
