A Tsunami Benefit gig at The Garage in London that was organised by Samantha Morton and Rhys Ifans went down a storm last night. It was the first time that Babyshambles performed with their new drummer Adam Ficek since Gemma Clarke departed last week. And for once, according to NME, Pete Doherty was on time!!!
The venue was packed out for the charity gig that featured the talents of Ed Harcourt and The Rakes.
The person that everyone wanted to see was Pete Doherty, who had made a mad dash across the English Channel to get heir on time.
During his 30 minute set he crowd surfed, stage dived and the set finally culminated in Doherty diving into the crowd and singing ‘**** Forever’ while the bouncers fought hard to free him from his fans.
