US rapper The Game has been released from Los Angeles' Twin Towers prison, according to sheriff's records.
The rapper served just eight days of a 60-day sentence for allegedly pulling a gun on another player during a basketball game.
The Game, whose real name is Jayceon Terrell Taylor, was also given three years probation and 150 hours of community service.
The incident took place at Rita Walters Educational Complex in February 2007.
