Kate Nash Bemoans The Cribs NME Snub

Kate Nash thinks The Cribs should have won a gong at the NME Awards on Thursday night - and not because she’s dating their singer.

Nash - who has been seeing Ryan Jarman for the last six months - thinks the Yorkshire trio deserved to pick up at least one award from their four nominations.

She explains, “I'm really upset that The Cribs didn't win Best Live Band.

“They were up for four awards but they didn't get anything. I'm bummed because they're a really important band.

“I know everyone will be like, 'Oh, you're so biased'. I am, but I also really mean it."

Nash herself won best Solo Artist at the bash on Thursday night .

all 3 of you are clearly upper class twats, the cribs are easily the most under-rated band in Britain, muse are utter shit toff ****s, the cribs are the best band in a LONG time, a proper indie rock band not like muse wannabe scenester dickheads, nme awards was a farce, arctic monkeys & klaxons were great once but now they’ve got the brit awards on their cocks and nme up their arse. Kallum is right, the Cribs are one of the single greatest live acts ever to grace the stages of the UK. Muse are also shit. Anyone who needs all the lights and shit to be a good live band clearly aren’t worth the time.
