Members of Kaiser Chiefs are subject to a 20p fine if they fail to arrive for practice sessions on time, according to frontman Ricky Wilson.
Wilson revealed that the band maintain a strict practise routine in order to write and rehearse new songs.
"Monday, Tuesday and Thursday are practice days. Then we have a long weekend,” he told the BBC.
“That's not geeky. We're not playing ‘Ruby’ over and over again you know, we're writing new songs.”
"If someone's late they have to put 20p in the book, the late book. 12.30-5.30 it is."
Kaiser Chiefs will play a homecoming gig at Elland Road in Leeds this May. Tickets for the concert, which will feature The Enemy and Kate Nash, have sold out.
