Chris Thompson, the Drummer in Vampire Weekend, sustained head injuries following a collision with a car in the early hours of this morning (February 29th).
The incident is reported to have taken place outside the Hoxton Hotel in East of the city.
It’s understood that the drummer was rushed to the Royal London Hospital for treatment.
According to witnesses on the scene a puddle of blood was left on the road following the collision.
An update on Thompson's condition is yet to be released.
