Los Angeles police have confirmed that they are looking into allegations that Britney Spears was drugged without her knowing.
Police Captain Kyle Jackson said that no suspect has been identified and that they were yet to launch a formal investigation into the allegations. He maintained that all the claims were “being considered.”
In court papers filed recently, Britney’s mother Lynne Spears alleged that her manager Sam Lufti had mistreated the fallen pop star. She claimed that Lufti drugged Britney, shouted at her and cut her home phone line.
Since then Lufti has been slammed with a restraining order keeping him away from Britney. He is currently not allowed within 250 yards of the singer and will face arrest if he breaks the order.
