London can be a bit of jungle at times but it has become even more so for residents of Shepherds Bush recently following the erection of a huge lion image on the side of one the areas buildings.
The awning has only the words ‘Ark’ and ‘Brotherhood’ on it plus the image of the lion and was put up two weeks ago.
The huge billboard has got local residents scratching their heads about what it could be for but now Gigwise can reveal all.
The artwork is in fact the cover for Australian band Sparkadia’s new album ‘Postcards’ which is out in July.
The word ‘Ark’ refers to the bands label Ark Recordings while the word ‘Brotherhood’ is still a mystery.
The band have been over in the UK playing a series of shows, including support slots for Vampire Weeekend, which culminate with a gig at the metro in London tomorrow night (February 27).
Before ‘Postcards’ hits the shops Sparkadia release their new single ‘To Much To Do’ on March 17.
