Leonard Cohen is the latest headliner to be confirmed for Benicassim Festival.
The 73-year-old Canadian will bring his unique poetic sound to the sun-kissed Spanish town this summer, joining previously announced acts Babyshambles, My Bloody Valentine and Siouxsie at the top of the bill.
Other new performers include Beirut and Richard Hawley, while Justice and Erol Alkan will bring their brands of danceable electro to the festival often seen as the Mediterranean Glastonbury.
The line-up is shaping up to be an eclectic affair, with today’s other additions being: Micah P. Hinson, These New Puritans, Róisín Murphy, Supermayer, Moriarty, David Duriez, Eef Barzelay, John Acquaviva and the aptly-named Tommie Sunshine.
Benicassim Festival takes place from 17th-20th July, with tickets available now through Gigwise.
