Snow Patrol frontman Gary Lightbody will appear in front of an arts committee at Stormont today (February 21st) to speak on behalf of an Irish music project.
Lightbody is expected to show how the project, Oh Yeah, has helped Irish musicians across the country.
Oh Yeah was set up by Ash’s Tim Wheeler in a bid to establish a dedicated music centre in Belfast.
Wheeler has described the project's aims as a "long-overdue idea for Belfast".
The project has already got the support of a number of high profile personalities and industry representatives.
