US R&B star Rihanna says she would consider releasing the version of ‘Umbrella’ that she performed with the Klaxons at yesterday’s BRIT Awards.
The unlikely collaborators were one of the strongest performances at last nights ceremony, which was the first time they had performed together.
Speaking about the collaboration, which featured snippets of Klaxons' 'Golden Skans', Rihanna said that the band helped to make it “ much more rock and roll.”
“It’s a different tempo and everything,” Rihanna told 6music, "But I actually want to release a version like that. Maybe the same version. I really, really liked it."
Rihanna’s collaboration with the group was one of a number of special performances at last night’s ceremony in London.
Elsewhere, Beth Ditto performed ‘Standing In The Way Of Control’ with Mika, while Mark Ronson was joined by Adele and Amy Winehouse.
