Playboy Model Rita G has defended her actions in the controversial new video by US rapper Kanye West.
In the video for the West’s new single ‘Flashing Lights’, the scantily clad model pummels a gagged West in the drunk of a vehicle.
The Spike Jonze video, which debuted last week, then cuts to leave the cryptic message ‘Flashing Lights’ across the screen.
"It's so funny," the playmate told MTV. "This video will go over a lot of people's heads — and it's supposed to. I think it's great that it does.
“Because Kanye is just on another level; he's ahead of his time, in a sense.”
Rita G says she believes youngsters will find the video “wack”, but added that it will leave more of an impression on older people.
“People in higher positions, they're gonna see something different. They're gonna get it, people who are thinkers,” she added.
Speaking about the video at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles last week, West described it as “what I represent now.”
