MOR favourites Keane have revealed that they have started recording their third album.
According to a blog from Tim Rice-Oxley on their official site, the band have spent the past few weeks working on songs in Sussex and have now decamped to Paris to start the recording sessions.
The trio are working with American producer Jon Brion on the long-player – a man who has previously worked with the likes of Kanye West, Rufus Wainwright and Evan Dando.
Clearly excited about working with Brion, Rice-Oxley writes: “(He) arrived yesterday to contribute his whirlwind of crazy ideas, pushing us even further out of our confort zone than we’ve already pushed ourselves. Learning a lot from him, which I always love.”
The post then goes into some detail about their drunken antics with the Puppini Sisters. Crazy boys.
