Architecture In Helsinki, Devastations and Midnight Juggernauts have all made the short list for this year’s Australian Music Prize.
The Aussie equivalent of the Mercury Prize is now in its third year with the winner taking home a cheque for $25,000.
The short list features ten acts who released albums in 2007, all of whom have never previously won the award.
The winner will be named at a ceremony in Sydney on March 13.
The shortlist is:
