Fatboy Slim is the latest act to confirm his appearance at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

The Brighton dance star jokes that he has become part of the Glasto “furniture” as he prepares to perform for his eleventh year on the bounce.

He says: “Oh yeah, I’m doing it again this year in some guise.” He explained, “I think I’m actually official this year, last I wasn’t actually on the bill, but I still managed to play three times.

“This year I think I’m officially on the bill on Friday night, but I think I’ve played Glastonbury eleven years running now.”

Speaking about Michael and Emily Eavis, he continued: “They’re just like, ‘You’re part of the furniture. Even if you’re not on the bill, just come down and we’ll find a spot for you, whether it’s Africa Express or Lost Vagueness’.”

He joins the likes of Jay-Z, Kings of Leon, The Verve, British Sea Power, Neil Diamond and Elbow on a bill which is expanding by the day.

Glastonbury Festival takes place on the weekend of June 27-29.

As reported yesterday, Fatboy is already confirmed to headline the Saturday of this year's O2 Wirless Festival in Hyde Park.
