Ever grown your hair like Morrissey? Or pretended to be Johnny Marr playing guitar in your bedroom? Now the chance to recreate The Smiths most iconic moment is up for grabs.
The winner of a special charity auction will have the opportunity to strike the famous Salford Lads’ Club pose with the original photographer Stephen Wright.
The prize is being auctioned as part of Cancer Research’s Sound and Vision 2008 event. The evening will take place at the legendary Abbey Road studios. Other prizes on offer include signed and limited edition prints of artists such as Johnny Cash and The Doors.
Sir George Martin is the patron of the event, which hopes to raise over £100,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The charity night will feature live performances from The Brand New Heavies, Beverley Knight and 10cc, and takes place on February 28th.
