Sonic Youth are planning a worldwide exhibition of their artwork according to Thurston Moore.
Moore announced the plans in New York last week at a party being held my Marc Jacobs.
"We're putting together this museum show that's utilizing all the artists that we've worked with on different covers and concepts, and that's going to happen for two or three years," he told New York magazine.
He added: "It's going to happen in young museums; there's one outside of Paris, there's one in Malmö, Sweden."
The exhibition will apparently launch in June with Lieu International des Formes Emergentes in Saint-Nazaire, France the first gallery to exhibit the work.
Sonic Youth are also expected to play at each of the exhibition sites.
