Richard Hawley For The Royal Albert Hall!

Sheffield crooner Richard Hawley is the latest act confirmed to play the prestigious surroundings of the Royal Albert Hall this year.

The singer will play the hallowed venue on May 20; a show which follows his four date tour of quaint venues in the UK and Ireland this month.

Already playing the Royal Albert Hall this year are the likes of R.E.M, The Wombats, Jean Michel-Jarre and Echo & The Bunnymen.

In other Richard Hawley news, the singer is set to go head-to-head with Jamie T, Mark Ronson, Mika and Newton Faulkner at the Brit Awards next Wednesday (February 20). He doesn’t have a hop in hell thanks to the MOR nature of the ceremony, but we wish him the best of luck anyway.
