Atmosphere Set Release Date For Sixth Album

We’ve already brought you what we reckon will be the best album cover of 2008 in the shape of Sebastien Tellier’s ‘Sexuality’, now we have a contender for one of the best/worst album titles.

Minneapolis hip-hop duo Atmosphere have dubbed their sixth long-player ‘When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold.’ Seemingly a profound statement on making the most of what life gives you, we can’t make out whether it’s genius or tacky as hell.

The record is released through Rhymesayers Entertainment on April 21 and for a limited period comes complete with a deluxe 40 page booklet and bonus DVD.

The book features lyrics, album credits and an illustrated children's story written by band member Slug.

Atmosphere have now shifted over 1million units globally and have played over 2,000 gigs in their eight year history.
