Dolly Parton has had to cancel her upcoming U.S tour because her breasts are causing her too much pain.
The country singer has suffered a back injury as a result of her large chest and has been ordered to rest for up to eight weeks. She was due to begin a 13-date tour in support of a new album, ‘Backwoods Barbie.’
She says: "I know I have been breaking my neck and bending over backwards trying to get my new Backwoods Barbie CD and world tour together, but I didn't mean to hurt myself doing it!”
Parton, 62, has been in the music business for 40 years with the help of her famous assets, but admits they can be problematic. “Hey, you try wagging these puppies (her breasts) around a while and see if you don't have back problems. Seriously though, the doctors said I will be good as new in a few weeks, and I can't wait to get back out there."
The tour, which was supposed to begin in Minneapolis on February 28th, is expected to be rescheduled for April and May. Parton’s European shows, which begin in Stockholm on June 13th, should not be affected.
