Amy Winehouse has concluded her fortnight stint in rehab in order to prepare for her Grammys appearance tomorrow.
As we told you yesterday, the six-times nominated singer will perform via satellite after being refused entry to America - an opportunity the newly contrite 23-year-old says she appreciates following her recent high profile drug use.
In a statement released yesterday she says, “I’m raring to go and really excited to be performing at my first Grammy Awards.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their support over the last couple of weeks. I’m really sorry I can’t be there but I appreciate that I'm being given a second chance via satellite.”
The rest of the statement reads like some kind of coked up PR coronation, but reports Amy is now “feeling great, looking healthy and looking forward to doing what she does best” and confirms she “will remain under full medical supervision and her treatment will continue as normal” despite checking out of London’s Capio Nightingale clinic.
