Paramore: We're Not A One Woman Band!

Paramore’s Josh Farro has voiced his anger to Gigwise about the coverage of the band in the press and their concentration on front woman Hayley Williams.

The band have made much of the fact that they’re not a ‘one woman band’ recently and Josh says the press are finally starting to take notice.

He said: “We are a team, we are a band. It’s not just Hayley, it’s not her band. Just because she’s the lead singer doesn’t mean she’s the only one involved. We all put our hearts into this.”

Speaking about the bands campaign to change perceptions of them he added: “I think in the beginning the problem was that all the press focused completely and solely on her.

“All anyone knew was this little red-headed chick called Hayley. They didn’t know our faces or our names.

“But now us guys are getting involved in a lot more press. We prefer it this way.”

i agree with this completely, paramore are a band, and an amazing one at that tbh. glad to hear the press are noticing josh, jeremy and zac aswell, hayley is incredible, but so are the guys and they all deserve equal credit. (: riot!

Whatever. Let it end so she can release her two solo albums then fail miserably later on and we can be done WITH ALL OF THEM. This band with and without her stinks.
