Rilo Kiley front woman Jenny Lewis is reportedly recording a new solo album with a little help from lots of her friends.
It is not known whether or not the Watson Twins will be involved but what is known is that Lewis has been recording at Sound City studios in the San Fernando Valley for the past couple of weeks.
According to Entertainment Weekly she has been joined by Johnathan Rice, Rilo Kiley producer Jason Larder and Interpol touring member ‘Farmer Dave’ Scher for the sessions.
A number of other famous friends have also dropped in to contribute vocals to the album including Zooey Deschanel, the Black Crowes' Chris Robinson, M. Ward and Elvis Costello.
A source who has heard the recordings said: "It all sounds super natural, nice, and simple. Like it doesn't belong in any decade. It's just timeless."
