Classic songs by The Cure, Roxy Music and The Human League are all set to feature on a new Groove Armada compilation.
The band are the latest act to participate in the ‘Late Night Tales’ compilation series which in the past has been put together by Fatboy Slim and Air.
As with past efforts the CD takes a retrospective look through the groups music collection, mixing eclectic and new acts.
“There’s an overall theme to this CD. When we were teenagers we were making girlfriends and would-be girlfriends tapes,” Groove Armada said in a statement.
“Now it’s found a new focus because on the tour bus the upstairs lounge is always where the music’s at. It’s really brought back the idea of doing tapes for your mates.”
The album, which includes a cover of Gary Numan’s ‘Are Friends Electric?’, is released on March 14th.
