Girls Aloud are set to take aim at indie kids on the B-side to their next single ‘Can’t Speak French’ which is out next Month.
The track, ‘Hoxton Heroes’, sees the all girl five piece hit out at the residents of the trendy London area.
At one point they sing “don't kid yourself you're an indie clone, we've seen it before get a sound of your own".
You can listen to a preview of the track, which is released on March 17, by going to Girls Aloud’s myspace page.
Seems like they’ll no longer be the girl band its ok for indie kids to like anymore.

A girl group manufactured on a TV programme calls indie bands ’clones’?
Ooooh, my sides, they split....
- Yeah, indie kids arent clones, with so many different coloured converse available...

- To be fair, I’d nail every single one of them though. Mmmmmm

- Who gives a toss - that picture is one for the archives later!

- Lets face it, the material that girls aloud put out (obviously not written by the band themselves) is considerably more interesting and forward thinking/moving than the majority of indie bands. I’m on their side, who cares if they have the colective personality of particularly dull pencil, they are something nice to look at while listening to songw-writers actually striving to make pop both accesible and progressive.
