Daniel Craig: Amy Winehouse Isn't Singing The Bond Theme

007 himself, Daniel Craig, has quashed the rising speculation that Amy Winehouse is singing the theme tune to the new movie Quantum of Solace.

Reports in today’s red tops claim that movie execs are keen to draft Wino in to sing the coveted score, providing she manages to steer clear of the drugs.

Speaking to MTV, Craig claims that they won’t even think about who sings the track until work on the movie has progressed further.

He said: “Why is everybody ramming (the name) Amy Winehouse out. It’s just way, way off that.

“Everyone’s speculating about it but we’ve got other things to deal with- there’s no point in writing the song for a movie when we haven’t got a movie.”

Craig is an idiot. They ought to be begging her to do it, rather than pretending that it’s her honour and not theirs. Anyone else doing it now is going to come across as a very weak second best (a bit like craig I guess).

Well i don’t know. During the short Brosnan era it was only female artist singing the title. Chis Cornell first male artist for Casino Royale ”You know my Name” since AHA in 1987 ”The Living Daylights”. But I don’t care who does the ”Quantum of Solace” title

i think...amy winehouse will do ok for the bond song....because it is kind of a hard song to make up with the words ”quantum of solace” in it....i wierd song title...for a wierd artist...she really is screwed up...(I)
