Madonna hosted a huge fundraising event in at the United Nations last night (February 6) in New York in aid of helping orphaned children in Malawi.
The singer, of course, is in the process of adopting a Malawian boy and invited a whole string of celebrities to the exclusive event, including Rihanna, Pharrell Williams, P Diddy and a heavily pregnant Jennifer Lopez.
The event, which included a slap up meal and entertainment, cost $2,500 a head to attend and in total raised a massive $3.7million for her own charity Raising Malawi and also Unicef.
Madge said at the event: "I want to put Raising Malawi on the map. I want credibility as a philanthropic organisation. I want to inspire people. I don't want them to just write me a cheque - I want them to give me a piece of their heart."
