Amy Winehouse’s disastrous gig at the Birmingham NIC last November has been voted amongst the 12 worst gigs of all time.
During the show on November 17, the troubled singer appeared intoxicated as she stumbled her way through the set. After a section of the crowd started jeering her, she threatened them by saying her husband Blake would be after them when he came out of prison.
The Independent, who ran the feature, said of the show: "Despite playing the same set as usual, she gave a shambolic performance, staggering around the stage and slurring her way through."
Also featured on the list of worst gigs are The Stone Roses’ crash and burn performance at Reading in 1996, a tired Clash gig at the Edinburgh Playhouse in March 1984 and David Bowie’s overblown Glass Spider Tour in 1987.
Led Zeppelin’s show at the O2 Arena made the list for the sheer fact that fans had to sit through so much support to get to the final awe-inspiring act.
