Michael Jackson Won't Perform At The Grammys

Michael Jackson won’t be performing at this weeks Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, according to reports.

A leaked memo from Jackson’s record label, SonyBMG, last week had hinted that Jackson would perform live at the ceremony, which takes place on the eve of the release of the 25th anniversary edition of ‘Thriller’.

However, a report in the New York Post claims that the singer is reluctant to embark on such a high profile live performance.

"Michael can't go along with that,” a source said. “He needs more time to rehearse new versions of the songs. And everything requires new choreography."

Jackson is expected to attend the ceremony on February 10th, however, as part of the promotion for the album, which features new collaborations with Kanye West, willl.I.am and Fergie.

Please... I told you! I told you guys that He wouldnt sing live. He is a Lip Syncer. No more No less... and this excuse, of ”New” Versions? ”New” Choreography? He hasn’t done any new Dance Steps since 1995. Just watch, NONE of these comeback appearances, will have him with a microphone in his hand and singing live. Now we are at the point that he doesnt even rehash his old lip sync junk.

Ow yeah, so how do you explain Britney’s debacle at the VMOs? MJ is a highly achieved artist that can choose to do whatever he wants.. I mean surely, this man has been in the game for 40years and is still very much the juniour (in terms of age) to most comparable living icons... And again how many other 25 year old albums do we have grabbing the headlines thriller25 has? This is Michael Jackson so you better recognize!!! Stop hating you’all; the king is back!!!

Michael is not going to perform to promote a re-re-lease of his Thriller album_at an award show_ :LOL: He will perform when he is ready to in ALL his GLORY with his new material later this year - dont under-estimate the Greatest performer to ever grace this planet - Even the Top icons of today and the music Industry recognise his great talent and contributions - The few naysayers will end up eating crow and to call Michael Jacksons music junk just shows ones OWN ignorance ...
