This years Glastonbury Festival will not feature the famous Lost Vagueness area, its organisers have confirmed.

In a statement, organisers of the ‘festival within a festival’ failed to clarify the reasons behind their decision to part ways with the June festival.

“In the absence of any Glastonbury festival press release on this matter, we do not want you to be misled by this omission,” it read.

“Reproduction of our shows, without our permission or endorsement has been tried before, and however flattering these imitations may be, they will never come close to the real thing.”

During its ten year run, Lost Vagueness became an area where fans could find solitude and circus entertainment among all the music.

The statement thanked fans who had supported them “throughout the years”, adding that similar events will now happen elsewhere.

    • Solitude? In the Lost Vagueness area? Are you completely mad? That’s the last place to find solitude.
