Morrissey’s three shows at the Roundhouse in London which were postponed because of illness won’t be rescheduled, it’s been announced.
The singer was forced to abandon one show after just five songs and cancel the remaining two dates of his six night run at the venue because of throat problems.
In a statement, organisers said that it had not been possible to reschedule the shows and that refunds would be available from point of purchase.
“We would like to extend our apologies to all of Morrissey's loyal fans over this unavoidable situation,” it added.
Morrissey was ordered by a doctor to rest his voice for four days before returning to the stage last night (January 31st) in Doncaster.
His short UK tour will continue tonight (February 1st) in Sunderland. Tickets have sold out.
